We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to Kare Foundation staff and administration for the good job done during our most recent Weekend Challenge that was held in October 2022.

Kare Foundation spent only 3 days with the boys but since then, we have seen a tremendous turnaround in our boys! They are more disciplined (drug abuse cases and even theft cases are no more.) We can tell a positive shift in attitude and behaviour all-round including towards their studies.

May God sustain and bless Kare Foundation to keep up the good work!

I am a 2nd Born from a family of 4. My parents passed away when I was in class 6 and I have been staying with my grandmother since then. Life was very difficult and unbearable for my siblings and I. We struggled to have basic needs. After completing my class 8 I had no hope to join high school, so I started making and selling detergents and used the money raised to help pay school fees for my brother, younger sister and myself.

By God’s Grace, Mum Loice came through and offered to support us in our education. I am now completing my basic computer skills at TalTech College. My brother and sister are also being supported by the Kare Foundation and are doing well in their boarding schools.

Since I joined the Kare foundation, life has been really good.. I no longer think of ‘hustling’ to provide for my family. My hope for the future has been renewed and I am looking forward to venturing into Mechanical Engineering beginning in 2023. I now have hope for tomorrow.

I am from a semi arid area with a lot of insecurities and inter community banditry attacks which has led to alot of life loss in the area. My family is really poor and things were really tough.

After I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE),I knew that was the end of my education and I lost all hope of joining high school. A miracle happened and the Kare foundation came to my rescue. Since then, things have really been great. I am now in school and all my needs are being catered for.

I have gained a lot of weight since and I have so much hope for my future. My spiritual life has been built and I pray that may God continue blessing and elevating the Kare Foundation.

I grew up in a really unstable environment. I lived with my grandmother and life wasn’t very easy. We barely had any basic needs. It was so hard for us.

I passed my exams and got a chance to join high school through the support of the Kare Foundation. Since I joined the foundation, life has really been good. I have had an experience that I haven’t seen before. My school fees and basic needs are now taken care of and I have a hope for the future. I am looking forward to changing the condition for my family and also helping the less fortunate in the community.

I am an orphan. I have been raised by my grandmother with a lot of challenges.

My siblings and I used to ‘hustle’ to pay our school fees, buy food and just manage our day to day life. At some point I stayed with an aunty who abused me and ended up chasing me away.

When we met mum Loice, she took care of us and life has been good since. My life has really transformed because the foundation takes care of our basic needs and even more. I am now hopeful that I have a future to look forward to.I hope to be a lawyer when I grow up. May God bless the Kare foundation.

Growing up in the village was so tough and hard. I had given up on life and studies but gladly enough I was able to join Kare foundation and I am now on track.I am in secondary school and enjoying every bit of it. During the holidays, Kare foundation pays for tuition and at other times are taken for training in life skills.

I am happy that my hope for a bright future is restored.

I hope to specialize in IT when I grow up.

I do not understand how you take  care of my son but I am grateful for the transformation I have seen in my son!

My son stays with me during the holidays and he is very disciplined. He avoids his former ‘bad’ friends and is committed to his books.

Thank you Kare Foundation for all you have done and continue to do.

Before my daughter joined the Kare Foundation, I was a hopeless parent. I had no hope that my daughter would continue her education.

My son, Linet’s brother, was diagnosed with Cancer and the little money I would make would be channeled to his medical expenses. I was drained emotionally, physically and financially because despite all this my family was poor and I had to depend on well wishers.
