About Us
Who we are
Kare Foundation is a registered Charity in Australia and Kenya that was founded in 2020 to celebrate the life of kare Njanja who passed
on at the early age of 26 years.
Kare was a beloved daughter of Loice & Milton Njanja, a sister to Mwangi, Wangui and Liz and an Auntie to Amani and Baraka.
Kare had a pure soul and lived to assist those less fortunate, and our aim is to keep her fire burning. She worked with people living with a
disability at the time of her passing, and her future goal was to assist people living with a disability worldwide. She was also interested in
working with people with Mental Health Issues. Kare was an active member of the Save the Child volunteer team in Dandenong, Australia
and was a sponsor to guide dog training.
Kare put a smile wherever she went; hopefully, the Kare foundation will bring a smile to many lives. Kare Foundation’s mission is to be a
voice of hope to marginalized youth, mothers and fathers, and people living with disabilities.
We aim to equip, educate and empower the less marginalized in society to break from generational cycles of poverty and bring change to
their families and communities.
Our Core Values
Doing and not being talkers... We do what we say. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.
Do to others as you would like them to do to you…What do I desire as an individual? I desire to be loved, affirmed, respected, honored and treated right. So we honor one another, love one another, esteem and speak highly of one another, and treat one another right.
In everything I showed you that by working hard in this way you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." We have freely received and we freely give.
Unity: God brings a blessing. I am because you are, and you are because I am. Together we are a cord that cannot be easily broken. That is us, Kare Team Members!
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” We are seekers of what is true and noble.
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead.
We step into a context, understand what’s required, and execute what is required.
We are people of character founded on Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness
We are people of humility and put others before ourselves
We have the ability to understand ourselves and understand others, manage ourselves and manage others.
